Red Deer actor Tyler Duffy could soon get his big break — he’s about to start filming an action thriller starring Eric Roberts in Edmonton.

Last month, the community served as one of the primary filming locations for Red Pine City, an upcoming film starring Academy Award nominee Eric Roberts (The Dark Knight, The Pope of Greenwich Village, The Expendables).

The crime drama, directed by Frank A. Caruso, is currently in production in Edmonton until Nov. 26.
