Laura Gets A Cat
Laura, an unemployed writer in New York City, has a boyfriend who provides little excitement and two best friends who seem to have achieved all their hopes and dreams if only to spite her. Good thing she lives mostly inside her head, daydreaming about all the wonderful things happening in her imaginary life. After she starts an affair with Ian, a performance artist coffee shop barista, real life proves too complicated. She packs up a suitcase and moves to a small beach town only to find out that peace of mind is not necessarily found by chasing it.
